A real ZAA’N Beauty ritual
Saffron radiance, in real life
Watch the golden saffron jelly leave the pump and melt into real skin—created in small batches and made to become part of everyday care.
Real product · Small-batch · Made in the USA
Patch test first. Yes, even you.
ZAA'N formulas are a cocktail of peptides and true Persian botanicals — saffron, galbanum, yarrow, rose. Real plants mean real plants: a few people are sensitive to one of them, the way some people can't eat strawberries, sneeze at a friend's perfectly lovely cat, or itch in a wool sweater everyone else finds soft. The plant isn't the problem; the match is. That's what patch testing is for: dab a little on the inner forearm, wait 24 hours, then begin.
Two pumps on clean, gently cleansed skin. Harsh soap first is the fastest way to make a gentle serum sting.
Morning use under sunscreen; evening use as it comes.
A moment of warmth as it absorbs is normal. Stinging that stays is not — rinse and stop. Sensitivity is individual, and skin reactions aren't eligible for refund, so please patch test. Shipping & Returns
SOHA Wrinkle Smoothing Serum is the glow serum: Persian saffron, steeped by hand, for skin that looks glossier, smoother and more even in tone.
Best for: dullness, dark spots and uneven tone, fine lines, and skin that wants a lit-from-within finish.
What it does
- Visibly brightens and gives skin a glossy, dewy glow
- Helps reduce the look of dark spots, sun marks and uneven tone with continued use
- Softens the look of fine lines and expression wrinkles
- Plumps with hydration for a smoother, more refined surface
Why saffron — and why we extract it ourselves
Saffron is the most valuable spice on earth and, for a thousand years, the Persian secret to a luminous complexion. Its gold comes from crocin and crocetin, carotenoid antioxidants that give saffron both its color and its brightening reputation — the reason it has been treasured for the look of uneven tone and dark marks. Saffron also carries safranal and kaempferol, antioxidants that help defend the look of skin against everyday stress.
Most brands buy a pre-made saffron "extract." We don't. We steep whole saffron threads ourselves in a bath of glycerin and water. Crocin is water-soluble, so glycerin-water draws the full golden fraction out of the thread — you can see it in the color of the serum — without alcohol, which can dry and sensitize skin. And glycerin is one of skincare's best humectants: the same extract that carries the saffron also pulls water into the skin, which is where SOHA's glossy, plump finish comes from.
Supporting actives
- Niacinamide — supports a more even-looking tone and refined-looking pores
- White mulberry (Morus alba) — a classic brightening botanical for the look of dark spots
- Barberry (zereshk) — the Persian red berry, antioxidant-rich, for dull, uneven-looking skin
- Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) — softening, for a calm, luminous look
- Sodium hyaluronate — plumps with hydration so fine lines look softer
- Palmitoyl isoleucine — a peptide that supports smoother, firmer-looking skin
- Caffeine — for a refreshed, awake-looking complexion
- Rose water and aloe — the soothing base
How to use
Two pumps on gently cleansed, dry skin, morning and evening. Press over face and neck. In the morning, follow with sunscreen — protecting skin from the sun is the single most important thing you can do for dark spots. In the evening, follow with YAAS Hydra-Lumière or SHIVA. Patch test before first use.
SOHA or NAAR? SOHA is for glow, tone and lines. If your concern is blemishes, oiliness or redness, start with NAAR Serum. Many people use both: NAAR first, SOHA over it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does saffron do for skin?
Saffron's crocin and crocetin are antioxidant carotenoids traditionally prized in Persia for a brighter, more even-looking complexion. In SOHA we steep whole saffron threads ourselves in glycerin and water, so the serum carries the full golden fraction plus glycerin's hydration — the glossy, plump finish comes from that.
Is SOHA good for dark spots and uneven tone?
Yes. SOHA is built for dullness, dark marks and uneven tone: saffron, white mulberry, barberry and niacinamide, with hyaluronate to plump. Pair it with daily sunscreen — sun protection is the most important step for the look of dark spots.
SOHA or NAAR — which one do I need?
SOHA is for glow, tone and fine lines. NAAR Serum is for blemishes, oiliness and redness. Many people use both: NAAR first, SOHA over it. Both are in The Radiance Duo.
How do I use SOHA?
Two pumps on clean, dry skin morning and evening, pressed over face and neck. Follow with sunscreen in the morning and with YAAS Hydra-Lumière or SHIVA Firming Crème at night.
Can I use SOHA with retinol or vitamin C?
Yes. SOHA is a hydrating, non-exfoliating serum and layers under or over most actives. If your skin is reactive, introduce one new product at a time and patch test.
Is SOHA made in the USA?
Yes. Formulated in-house and hand-filled in small batches by ZAA'N Beauty in Texas. The saffron is extracted by us, not bought as a pre-made powder.
Is SOHA safe for sensitive skin?
It is formulated without alcohol and with a rose water and aloe base to be gentle. As with any new product, patch test behind the ear for 24 hours before first full use.
