✦ OUR STORY ✦
ZAA’N is rooted in ancient botanical wisdom, a return to a time before skincare came in boxes, when care was healing, passed from land to hand. We draw inspiration from the golden age of Persia, when the empire of Cyrus the Great stretched from the Persian Gulf to the northern mountains, uniting cultures through nature, poetry, and medicine. From pomegranate to rose, these botanicals were not “cosmetic,” they were revered. Nature was not a tool, it was a teacher. Long before modern skincare, physicians like Avicenna infused oils with herbs, mapped the body with precision, and taught the world to heal by working with nature, not against it. His Canon of Medicine guided medical practice for centuries. At ZAA’N, we are not chasing trends. We are remembering what endures. We revive the bond between earth and skin, pairing heritage botanicals with modern cosmetic science to create results that feel real, refined, and quietly powerful. You will not hear it shouted, but you will feel it.
✦ FOUNDERS ✦
Two women, one shared memory. ZAA’N was founded by Serineh and Mina, two women from different paths, united by one belief, the quiet power of nature in a woman’s hands. Serineh, Persian Armenian by heritage, was raised in a lineage of natural healing and trained in Western medicine. With over a decade of experience in diagnostic health and vascular imaging, her mind was shaped by science, yet her heart never forgot what nature taught first. From the beginning, she sought to understand both, how herbs soothe, how cells respond, how skin tells its story. ZAA’N is her way of merging clinical precision with ancestral wisdom. Mina, Zoroastrian by heritage, was raised in a home where rosewater, saffron, and silk were not luxuries, they were daily life. Her memories are shaped by rituals passed quietly through generations, where care was slow, intentional, and deeply rooted. A visionary with a strong business spirit, Mina is driven to uplift others, believing skincare is not vanity, it is self respect. For her, ZAA’N is both memory and mission. Together, they created ZAA’N to honor what women have always known, healing begins within, and beauty is not applied, it is awakened.
